Castleblayney Community Enterprise were delighted with the success of their Cultural Fair event which was held in conjunction with the Muckno Mania Festival. The event was jointly hosted by Castleblayney Community Enterprise, Castleblayney Church of Ireland and The Blayney Cultural Network Group took place in a marquee in front of Hope Castle on Sunday 12th July. The event which formed part of the PEACEPLUS Changemaker Funding Programme was staged to promote awareness of the different cultures that exist within the community and help foster integration.
Countries who participated in the Cultural Fair event included Poland, India, Pakistan, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine and Philippines.
During the course of the day an estimated 500 people attended the event.
