“Team Hope” Shoe Box Appeal 2023

“Team Hope” Shoe Box Appeal 2023

For a number of years, the Parochial Hall in Castleblayney has been used to sort, fill and pack shoeboxes for “Team Hope”, an Irish, Christian international development organisation working to help children affected by poverty in Africa and Eastern Europe. This Christmas share a little joy and excitement with children who live in circumstances where they have little or nothing.

Creating a shoe box is a personal thing. Every box is unique and part of the fun is choosing what goes into your gift. You can put your own shoebox together at home or you can put in together online. Items such as pencils, crayons, colouring books, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, hats, socks, cuddly toys, stickers etc, can be put into boxes. Further information can be obtained from Janet Hill (south Monaghan co-ordinator) Church St, Castleblayney.

Shoe boxes will be wrapped in the Parochial Hall, Church Street, Castleblayney, on Wednesday 18th October from 7.30pm. All help greatly appreciated. (please bring your own scissors!)
