The local Church of Ireland and Muckno Parish have once again teamed up with Irish Charity Team Hope for this year’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal.
The shoebox appeal gives hope and happiness to children, who may not otherwise celebrate the significance of Christmas and the holiday season.
Donations would be much appreciated from the Castleblayney community. The appeal is asking people to contribute school supplies, small clothing items, toiletries (no liquids), musical instruments, toys, jewellery/make-up for girls aged 12 to 14 etc.
Filled Shoe Boxes or just fillers can be left in the Parish Centre from Monday to Friday between 9.30am – 2pm or Contact: Janet Hill 086-8181468 by 8th November.
