This year Pobal is celebrating their 30th Anniversary and it in an effort to demonstrate the progress they have made over the last three decades in areas of social inclusion, equality and community development a number of informative and collaborative regional events will take place.

The organisers have chosen Castleblayney for one such event titled “Enhancing Social Inclusion – Monaghan” this will take place on Monday 29 May in the Íontas Arts and Community Centre and is the first of the three regional events coordinated to mark their 30th Anniversary.

This event will focus on Pobal, Government and communities working effectively together to create a cohesive and inclusive society.

This event will explore the theme of ‘Enhancing Social Inclusion in 2023’ and will be a half day event from 9.00am – 1.00pm. The event will include an exhibition area, keynote speakers and a panel discussion with representatives from the community and voluntary sector & early learning and school aged care sector.
