The countdown is officially on, with just 8 weeks to go until the Muckno Mania 2026 Festival bursts into life across Castleblayney.
The streets of Castleblayney are set to explode with colour, music, culture, and Spanish-inspired celebration as this year’s exciting festival theme is “Fiesta not Siesta!”
Taking place from 10th–12th July 2026, the much-anticipated community festival promises a vibrant weekend packed with entertainment, cultural experiences, family fun, Spanish food, and lively street performances inspired by the energetic spirit of Spain.
Over the three-day festival, Castleblayney will be transformed into a Mediterranean-style fiesta filled with colourful bunting, live music, flamenco dance performances, themed stalls, and interactive attractions for visitors of all ages.
Local businesses, community groups, and residents are expected to play a major role throughout the weekend, with organisers encouraging everyone to decorate homes, shopfronts, businesses, and public spaces with Spanish flags, colourful displays, and creative window décor in red, yellow, and fiesta-inspired colours to help bring the town to life with a true Spanish sparkle.
While the full programme of events will be released closer to the festival date, visitors can look forward to:
