As part of the nationwide Bealtaine Festival celebrating the arts and creativity as we age, Castleblayney Library has announced “Memories of May.” Taking place on Wednesday, May 13, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, the event invites participants to work in pairs to create a large-scale community wall hanging. This project focuses on individual panels that combine various artistic mediums, all inspired by personal reflections on the month of May.

The workshop is designed to be a social and inclusive experience, with a wide range of materials provided and lunch included for all attendees. Organized in partnership with Monaghan County Libraries and Age & Opportunity, the event aims to foster connection and creative expression among local residents.

Those interested in participating are encouraged to book their spot by calling Castleblayney Library at 042-9740281 or visit Libary’s Facebook for more information: www.facebook.com/castleblayneylibrary/
