Coffee morning hosted by Senator Robbie Gallagher and Cllr Aoife Mc Cooey will take place on Friday 13th September in the Glencarn Shopping Centre, Castleblayney from 10am to 2pm. 
Proceeds from coffee morning will go to Castleblayney Cancer Society and Cú Chulainn Blood Bikes.
Castleblayney Cancer Society provide aid and support to cancer patients and their families in Castleblayney and the surrounding area.
Cú Chulainn Blood Bikes were formed in April 2016 to provide a free volunteer service to HSE hospitals in the North-East and hospices in Armagh, Cavan, Meath, Monaghan and Louth. Cú Chulainn Blood Bikes transportation service provides the swift and safe pick-up and delivery of urgently needed Blood, Blood Products, Human Tissue, Patient Files / X - Rays and Infant Milk.
The annual fundraising walk in Carlingford organised by Fr. Noel Conlon Charitable Trust will take place on Saturday 7th September with registration starting at 10am at the Carlingford car park. Registration fee €20.
Proceeds from the day will go to Castleblayney and Carrickmacross Cancer Society.
This is a particularly beautiful walk along the Carlingford estuary from the Town Centre car park the whole way into Omeath and back. People can do the full 12km walk or 8km walk.
For many years Fr. Noel Conlon Charitable Trust has organised Charity Sponsored Walks in Inniskeen and Carlingford to raise much needed funds to support the local Cancer Societies in Castleblayney and Carrickmacross and also the Cancer Society Night Nursing Service.
Light refreshments served afterwards, all are welcome.

Blayney Blades will host their First Saturday Coffee Morning, which will take place in the Parish Centre on Saturday 7th September at 10.30am. All proceeds will go towards the malnourished people in Nairobi, Kenya.
As a country Kenya can boast of great beauty and variety in terms of cultures and terrain. This same variety exists economically where a small percentage of the population enjoy considerable wealth and a vast number struggle for their daily necessities. This is very evident in Nairobi where large areas of the city environs are home to tens of thousands of slum dwellers, in search of a living.
Anyone wishing to make a donation, but cannot attend, can instead call into the Blayney Blades Office, in the Íontas Centre, Conabury, Castleblayney.
