Young people from Castleblayney to avail of new Support Service launched in Monaghan

Frank Feighan, Minister of State with responsibility for Public Health, Well Being and National Drugs Strategy, on Tuesday 21st September officially launched Monaghan and Cavan’s first support service for under 18s who are concerned about their alcohol and other drug use. Minister Feighan stated “Monaghan and Cavan Youth Substance Support (MaCYSS) is a newly established service for young people aged 12 to 18 and their families who are concerned about their alcohol and other drug use, and the first of its kind in the region." Cost of service to user is free. Young people under 18s need parental permission to use this service.
