Muckno Mania Festival Launched and the Circus Comes to Town

At the launch of Muckno Circus Mania 2019 - Cathaoirleach MD of Carrickmacross-Castleblayney Noel Keelam; Deputy Chair MD Cllr Aidan Campbell; Damian Borden Gleancarn Hotel; Dympna Hughes Supervalu; Roisín Daly, Ryan McMahon and Eithne Daly Muckno Mania Committee; Francisco Gomez and Johannes Linder MC Building Chemicals; with clowns Kajus Bauba and Daithi Mc Guire.

The Muckno Mania Festival Committee had a successful launch of their Festival Programme on Tuesday 18th June, which was attended by the Festivals Main Sponsors and members of the hard working Committee.  This year’s Festival has adopted a Circus theme and is being promoted under the banner of ‘Circus Mania’.  The Festival begins with events on Thursday 4th July and concludes with a spectacular Fun Day on Sunday 7th July at the scenic Lough Muckno.

The launch was attended by Noel Keelan the new elected Cathaoirleach of Carrickmacross/Castleblayney Municipal Area, who was also representing Monaghan County Council.  The representatives of the festival’s Main Sponsors included; Jacqui Hanratty - Kingspan, Dympna Hughes - McMahon SuperValu, Maeve and Lorna Watters - Monaghan Hire, Damian Borden – Glencarn Hotel, Peter Shevlin – Drumakill Engineering and Johannes Linder and Francisco Gomez – MC - Building Chemicals.

The Muckno Mania Festival Committee was represented by Tommy McGuire, Chairman, Fiona Duffy, Eithne Daly, Roisin Daly, Ryan McMahon, Aidan Campbell, Stephen Fitzpatrick and Finbar Carvill.  Also present at the launch were Bobo and Bon bon the clowns (Kajus Bauba and Daithi McGuire).
