Castleblayney Hurlers in Ulster Final

All roads lead to the Athletic Grounds, Armagh on Sunday 11th November for the clash of Castleblayney Hurling Club and Cushendun, Antrim in the Ulster Club Junior Hurling Final, with throw in at 1pm.

Castleblayney’s last appearance in this final was in 2014 when they emerged victorious on the day. This year being crowned County champions with a convincing win over Inniskeen, they had a hard fought win against Donegal champions, Burt and had another epic battle against Clonduff of Down in the semi-final. They have played with heart and passion and shown a lot of grit and character along the path to this final. So come out in your numbers to support the lads in green and gold in Armagh on Sunday at 2pm.

The club would like to acknowledge the sponsorship of a set of polo shirts by local businessmen, Gareth Duffy of GD Ceilings and Niall Mulligan of Niall Mulligan Construction ahead of the Final next week. We are also indebted to our main sponsor, McMahon’s Supervalu and Centra whose ongoing generosity and commitment to our club makes so much possible.

If you would like to support the club in their efforts ahead of the Ulster Final, there is the opportunity to sponsor a sign wishing the team good luck.
