HACCP Course (1 Day) (HACCP / The implementation of the HACCP Food Safety Management System):
The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health's (CIEH) Level 2 Award in Principles of HACCP is designed for those working, or preparing to work, in food businesses where a food safety management system based on Codex HACCP principles is implemented.

This course will help anyone working in a catering, manufacturing or retail setting where food is prepared, cooked and handled to understand the principles and purpose of HACCP and to be able to apply it correctly in their own workplace.  Candidates are assessed by an examination paper consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions to be completed in a one hour examination.  Candidates who achieve 20 or more correct answers will pass the examination and receive a CIEH Level 2 Award in Principles of HACCP certificate.

Introduction to food safety management systems
Developing HACCP based systems
The principles of Codex HACCP
Applying HACCP-based systems

Cost:   €150 (includes CIEH exam for certification and workbook)
