  • Season's Greetings

As we draw closer to the end of another year and prepare to usher in 2021, the Board of Directors and the staff of Castleblayney Enterprise Centre would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone in Castleblayney, its surrounding areas and also all Castleblayney natives living abroad: a healthy and relaxing Christmas and a prosperous 2021.

We would also like to thank everyone who contributed news and stories to the website over the past year, we really appreciate it.

  • Age Friendly Community Campaigns

A Chairperson of Castleblayney Regeneration Committee, Annmarie Mc Hugh is appealing to people to support the older population during the Christmas period by participating in Monaghan Age Friendly Community Campaigns, launched by Monaghan Age Friendly Programme.

“I just called to say campaign”   encourages people across the county to check in on their older neighbours over the coming months and in particular over the Christmas period.

“Have you a spare Chair or Dinner to share?” Campaign encourages people to think of people in their community who may find themselves alone for Christmas due to travel restrictions impacting on their families.

A book titled “A Club And Its Community” charting the 132 year history the Castleblayney Faughs GFC will be launched at St Mary's Park, Castleblayney on Friday 4th December at 7.30 pm.
