Castleblayney Players are delighted to announce that we have qualified for the All-Ireland Confined Drama Finals. The drama group will be performing one show in Iontas Theatre before the finals on Thursday 24^th April – your last chance to see them locally.

After competing in seven drama festivals during February and March with our production of The Woodsman by American writer Steven Fechter, we are heading to Claremorris Town Hall where the Confined Finals are being run this year from April 25^th to 3^rd May. Nine drama groups from around the country will compete, and individual awards will be given for acting, technical and directing roles, with one group being awarded the Overall Winner.

There was an added bonus when the group also qualified for the Ulster Drama Finals which are being held in the Courtyard Theatre, Newtownabbey from May 5^th to 10^th.

The group’s date for the All-Ireland in Claremorris is Friday 2^nd May, and the Ulster Finals in Newtownabbey Tuesday 6^th May.

Castleblayney Players would like to thank all the local drama enthusiasts who have supported the group on the festival circuit this year and over the years, and we hope to see many of you again.
