Fireworks Muckno Mania

The eagerly awaited Muckno Mania Festival will take place this weekend between Friday 8th to Sunday 10th July in Castleblayney.

This year the Festival will see a new event “The Wellness Island”, which has been added to the Saturday programme and replaces the Triathlon event.  The Wellness Island event will take place on Saturday morning at 10.30am on the White Island at Lough Muckno Park where local service providers in the health, fitness & wellness will demonstrate their activities, give useful tips and advice and much more.

Also, the Festival welcomes artist Janna Wohlfarth who has travelled from Germany to entertain audiences this weekend.  In her JannaCycle Show the artist shows her audiences what it means to unicycle tricks and juggles up to 4 hats.  She fascinates audiences by dancing on one wheel and elates kids by having them ride the unicycle with her together on her shoulders.  As her grand final she climbs up the tall unicycle and shows rarely seen tricks with comedy so the audience will not only be impressed but smile a lot during her show.
