Castleblayney College students are through to the regional finals of Bank of Ireland’s Junk Kouture

The local Secondary School Castleblayney College art students, Louise Gorman, Lauren Mooney and Tami Robert have made it through to Regional Final of the Junk Kouture recycled fashion competition which will be held in The Millennium Forum, Derry on 1st March.

Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture 2018 is Ireland’s leading fashion and art competition for secondary schools which challenges students to create unique, original and innovative outfits from recycled materials and junk.

As part of the judging process, the public can get involved by casting a vote for their favourite design through the Bank of Ireland Student Facebook page. Votes account for 10% of the final mark and can make a huge difference in such a heated competition.
