This Christmas Toy Appeal

This Christmas Toy appeal aims to bring a smile to children in Ireland diagnosed with cancer by giving them a special gift which will hopefully provide comfort for them.

This worthy cause was organised by Bravery Blanky team which was set up by Susan Brown, a lady whose own son, Garda Ceejay McArdle, is fighting cancer.

Local businesses in Castleblayney have volunteered their services to act as a drop off point and also for postage to some of our bravest heroes.

Please find below a list of drop off points where you can donate new unopened toys, selection boxes, books etc.

  • The Corner Pharmacy, Main Street
  • Picasso, Main Street
  • Split Ends, Main Street
  • Mc Guigan Motors, Muckno Street
  • Taveys Bar, Market Square

South Monaghan Model Toy Show, Truck and Vintage Display which will take place on Sunday 19th November in the Glencarn hotel, Castleblayney will also provide a drop off point for This Christmas Toy appeal.

Donations can be dropped off at any time before the 9th December. All items will then be sent to the Paediatric Unit in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda and St. John’s Ward, Crumlin.

As always the Bravery Blanky team are eternally grateful for your support.
