When it comes to real sounds of traditional country music, The Outlaws have cultivated deep roots.The band will be very much on home territory when they provide the music for The Gala Parish Dance and Draw in the Glencarn Hotel, Castleblayney, on Saturday, 29 August.
The final 2 draws for July & August will take place on the night with €10,000 in prizes.
A full house is expected for this special occasion in aid of the renovation and restoration of St. Mary’s Church Castleblayney and St. Patrick’s Church Oram, a chance for family and friends to meet up at this very special event that will coincide with the blessing of the graves in Castleblayney. The Outlaws are fronted by local man, Sean Hughes, from the town of Castleblayney. He was lead singer on their recent hit singles, “The Best Part of The Day Is The Night” and “Hanging Out Hanging In”.
The talented Barry Leonard from Co Cavan has been an integral part of the band in recent years. Ryan Murtagh from ‘Blayney also features with The Outlaws.
The most recent additions are Dermot McBride from Oram, son of country legend Big Tom, and Aine McGreane from Magheracloone.
The Outlaws continue to woo audiences up and down the land with their engaging stage shows which always find favour with the country fraternity.
They have placed their faith in the “real deal” country and bring a hoedown touch to their shows from start to finish. A night at The Outlaws is truly a different experience and patrons are in for a real treat when they play the Glencarn on Saturday 29th August.
