Boom Training (QQI Level-5 Boom Sprayer Pesticide Application) : This course is essential for anyone spraying pesticides on farms or for others. Date: Tuesday 15th and Friday 25th August from 9.30am to 5pm. Cost: €200

EHOA Basic Food Safety & HACCP: Food Safety course explains how to prepare and manage foods with particular attention to contaminations. The cert at the end of this course will be lid for 5 years. Date: Thursday 17th August 9.30am to 5pm. Cost: €150

Occupational First Aid (QQI Level-5): This 3-day course educates participants in the proper response to any workplace emergency, and participants learn how to recognise medical emergencies & casualty assessment. Occupational First Aid Courses are heavily focused on providing the necessary skills to enable the employees deal with injuries that would be likely to occur at their workplace. It meets and exceeds current Health & Safety Standards and requirements for employee training.  The QQI Level 5 certificate awarded on successful completion of this 3 Day Course is valid for 2 years. Date: Wednesday 16th, 23rd and 30th August 9.30am to 5pm. Cost: €230

Half Day TAMS Safety Course: This is essential for anyone hoping to get a grant for farm modernisation. Date: Friday 18th August starting at 9.30am. Cost: €40

Safe Pass: The Safe Pass Health and Safety Awareness Training Programme aims to ensure that all construction workers in Ireland have a basic knowledge of health and safety.  Safe Pass is a one-day programme to enable them to work on construction sites without being a risk to themselves or others who might be affected by their actions.  Employers are required by law to ensure that employees on construction sites in Ireland carry Safe Pass cards. As a result, employers must ensure that all employees are properly trained. Date: 19th August 8am to 5pm. Cost: €100

Beginners Computers: This 8 weeks course is a fun, informal and uncomplicated introduction to computers & the Internet, showing the use & role of technology in the everyday lives of all people, regardless of status, education, age, ability or understanding.  It has been designed as a flexible learning programme that provides the ultimate introduction to basic computer skills. The course syllabus is covered & delivered via an easy-to-follow Workbook, & a certificate is awarded by ICS-skills on succesful completion of the programme. Date: Friday 18th August 10am to 12.30pm. Cost: €140

Digital Photography: Learn the basic skills required to capture, store, open & edit digital images in this 5 week course. Learn all about a range of Digital Camera's and their features, as well as some of the main concepts underlying digital images, such as pixels and resolution. Learn also how to use camera features such as shutter speeds & exposure, ISO, White Balance, and depth of field, etc. Date: This course runs for 5 Wednesdays, starting 16th August 7pm to 10pm Cost: €85
