Can you spare an hour a week to volunteer for this year’s Castleblayney Tidy Towns campaign?

An information meeting will be held on Monday 7th March at 7.30pm in Castleblayney Enterprise Centre.

Help is needed in all areas; including grass cutting, litter picking, painting, planting etc. If you can help out with this campaign, please come along.

Castleblayney Tidy Towns are a committee dedicated to improving the local environment in our community. They do this by working with the local authority, local businesses, local residents groups, local schools and individuals, so as to create a clean, safe place to live and work for future generations.

The three primary goals for the Committee include; assisting with environmental improvements for the town in the hope and goal that this will benefit the social, environmental and economic well being of the community as a whole. There is also an aim to develop and form strong partnerships with all stakeholders in the community to further enhance our environmental quality. The Committee as a whole use every available opportunity to foster awareness of the need to protect our environment for the good of all.
