30 Day Challenge Raises €4250 for Local Charities

The popular 30 Day Challenge organised by Castleblayney Faughs and its members – Tom Miller, Glenn Murphy and Jazza Hughes, has raised an impressive €4250 for local charities.

Every evening at 6.30pm and Saturday and Sunday mornings; participants met at St. Mary's Park, Castleblayney in an effort to get fit and raise vital funds for the charities outlined below.

The money was distributed and presented to the following:

€1000 – Castleblayney Cancer Society

€1000 – Castleblayney Trust

€500 – Castleblayney St. Vincent de Paul

€500 – Castleblayney Youth Café

€500 Carrickmacross So Sad

€500 – Ceejay Fund

€250 – Teenage Injury Fund

A big congratulations to everyone involved and to all those who took part in such a wonderful initiative. All those early mornings and wintery evenings were more than worth it, as, not only was a huge amount of money raised, but team spirit prevailed, as the community came together in spectacular style.
