This course runs over 8 weeks and caters for participants who have no prior knowledge of computerised accounts, for those who are currently using the package and wish to expand their knowledge, and for those who would like to pursue a career in this field. The first week or 2 will cover basic bookkeeping techniques, before moving onto the computerised accounts package and setting up a company on the accounting system. The aim of this course is to give participants the knowledge to set up nominal accounts, ledgers & records, completing every-day tasks such as: setting up Customer & Supplier Records, Backup/Restore/Data Integrity Check, Statements, Reports & Invoices, Bank reconciliation and VAT reconciliation.
